The Potomac

oil on canvas

24"x30"

I was driving on Rock Creek and Potomac Pkway NW and had to pull over. I had canvas with me an a few colors so I started painting right there on the ledge. Down the street you can see the vague shape of the Lincoln memorial coming into view. Incredible place really, my parents used to bring me there when I was younger.
