My first piece of 2020. After a family crisis I'd been on the road since mid-December, and it was a struggle just to get back into the studio. On my first day back I wanted to paint something about introspection, reflection, and letting go. Painting it made me feel I could move past some things and work consistently again — the process felt natural and intuitive.
