The Light Inside

Painted entirely with the palette knife. Portraiture isn't easy to handle with the knife, so I worked in layers and focused on creating believable light on the anatomy. Inspired by Linkin Park's "Nobody Can Save Me," this piece is about holding up a light to chase out the darkness inside.
