Inspired by travels to Jaipur, India. She was a woman I met in Amer, out near the Fort in the blazing summer heat. It was a tourist spot, people riding elephants, kids running around and then you see a wall. Against the wall are the beggars hiding from the scorching summer sunlight to get a little bit of shade, and some food. I was compelled to portray her reality.
