Oil on canvas
16"x20"

Continuing my palette knife series with some dioxazine purple as the primary color. Moments of isolation but also cigarettes and warm oranges to break the cool parts up a little bit. Really striving to build depth through softer edges closer to the light in the distance. Maybe I couldve pushed those edges further a little bit but would lose some textures. Textures are the main reason to do knife painting for me, to be able to mix an place paint thickly without layering and having to build.
